Monday 4:30

Laura has had a fairly good day today. She has rested well and went a good amount of time without any pain meds. She has been sleeping, but occassionally wakes up.

We brought the boys by to see her today, opened her eyes and acknowledged them, same with Nick and Jan. She has been talking with me with simple huh uh’s. She does want to go home, but she knows she has to get better first.

I am with here for awhile, Jan spent most of the afternoon with her. And Nick will be staying overnight.

  1. Glen & Linda Dun says:

    Thank God, Laura's doing better today! We're praying and praising God for her and you, Kevin!!

    Samuel took a large stone and placed it between the towns of Mizpah and Jeshanah. He named it Ebenezer—"the stone of help"—for he said, "Up to this point the Lord has helped us!" —1 Samuel 7:12, NLT
    Here I raise mine Ebenezer;
    hither by thy help I'm come;
    and I hope, by thy good pleasure,
    safely to arrive at home.
    Jesus sought me when a stranger,
    wandering from the fold of God;
    he, to rescue me from danger,
    interposed his precious blood. —Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

  2. Melissa Beltran says:

    Praise God! So happy to hear she's doing better. Tell her Joseph and Melissa say "Hello!"

  3. Kevin says:

    Glen & Linda, I am glad you sent me that verse last night, it was interesting that we were discussing that verse just a bit ago and it really hits the mark.

    Thanks Melissa! I will do so as soon as I can.
